Great, You already have a Petrol Station, Now it's very important to operate it efficiently & effectively.
Today I'm going to give you 5 key points that you must think about if you don't want to close your business.

You have competitors around your business. You have to compete with your competitors. So, Let's see the key points(SouthAsianCulture):

1. Quality of Petroleum products: For a petrol station the first important point is, you have to control the quality of your product. If you have a petrol station and you don't want to close it then your first concern must be the quality of your petroleum product. So, make sure about the good quality. [ I'll discuss about how to control the quality in later posts]

2. Patience: A petrol station is a busy place. People usually don't want to spend more time to fill the fuel tank. Everyone will hurry , but you have to think about every each customer. The patience of customers. If you don't maintain your service according to customers then they will loose their patience & this will make your sales decrease. [ I'll discuss about how to maintain customers patience in later posts]

 3. Employees Behavior: The employees who deals with the customers directly they're responsible to make sure customers satisfaction. For a petrol Station the employees behavior is the key of success. Any bad behavior of employees can drive your customers away. [ I'll discuss about how to improve employees behavior in later posts]

4. Service Hours: According to your place & vehicles you should decide the service hour of your Petrol Station. If you have customer 24hrs then you have to keep open your Petrol Station 7days 24hrs. But, you don't have customers 24hrs then you have to choose the service hours according to the customer flow. Don't close your service too early because you will loose valuable customers; on the other hand don't keep it open too late because it will increase your operating cost.

5. Cost Managing: To survive in a competitive market of Petrol Station Business you have to control your operating cost like electricity,water,stationary,wage,other expenses.
